The Boba Heist Poker
THE BOBA HEIST is a race to become the next BOBA MASTERMIND and stopping your fellow Boba Shakers from beating you to it!
Bluff your way through and be the first shaker who manages to get 12 points by matching the ingredients on hand to the required ingredient icons on each Boba Tea Card wins the game. Just don't get caught!
Game Set up
1. Start by splitting the Draw Cards and Boba Tea Bank Cards into 2 decks .
2. Set up your Boba Tea menu by
shuffling the Boba Tea Bank deck,
placing 5 Boba Tea Cards in the centre, facing up. Place the remaining deck aside, facing down.
3. Shuffle the Draw Cards deck and deal 7 cards to each Boba Shaker, facing down.
4. Place the remaining Draw Cards deck in the centre, facing down.
5. Decide who goes first!
Gameplay Tutorial
1. Draw 2 Draw Cards to start each turn.
2. During your turn, you have 2 moves which can be played in any of the following combinations:
A. Play an Action Card from your hand.
B. Announce to fellow Boba Shakers that you are about the shake a Boba Tea from the menu. Place the required Ingredient Cards, face down in front of you. please put a para here Here are the possible outcomes:
B.1 No Boba Shaker calls you out! Be sure to check with all Boba Shakers before proceeding to reveal the ingredients used to shake the Boba Tea. Collect the Boba Tea Card from the menu and show everyone your hand of Ingredient Cards, then discard.
B.2 A Boba Shaker calls you out! Reveal your Draw Cards used to shake the Boba Tea.
B.2.1. If you have the correct ingredients: Proceed to collect the Boba Tea Card from the menu. The accuser will have to pass you their Boba Tea with the highest point(s). If they do not have Boba Tea Cards in front of them, you can randomly choose 2 Draw Cards from their hand.
B.2.2 If you bluffed your hand and have the incorrect ingredients: You cannot collect the Boba Tea Card from the menu. Discard all Draw Cards used to shake the Boba Tea into the discard pile and the Boba shaker who called you out gets to select and keep 2 random Draw Cards from your hand!
3. Boba Shaker who shakes a completed Boba Tea has to refill the menu back to 5 Boba Tea Cards.
4. At any one time, A Boba Shaker cannot be holding more than 10 Draw Cards.
Fellow Boba Shakers who catch you can randomly select 5 Draw Cards from your hand for you to keep. Discard the remaining cards into the discard pile.
5. Put all used Draw Cards into the discard pile. Reshuffle when necessary and add them back into the Draw Cards deck when the deck has run out of cards.
